Prima Foodie Hiring for Assistant Manager of Marketing + Creative Content at Nashville, TN Full Time

It’s an exciting time to join us at PrimaFoodie as we bolster current projects (which include our hit podcast and weekly magazine), grow our social presence, develop values-aligned partnerships, and build new opportunities for our brand. This role provides a chance to work closely with our founder and CEO, Nichole, as well as with our editorial and creative projects team, in a proactive, inclusive, positive environment.

We’ll count on this person to bring forth dynamic ideas, a positive attitude, and robust social media skills to offer a strong and consistent stream of content and marketing ideas. Candidates should have a keen understanding of social media strategy, grassroots marketing, and the ability to think outside the box. Also, a fluid knowledge of various social platforms, CMS systems, and related digital and creative platforms, such as Instagram, Squarespace, Mailchimp, Canva, PowerPoint, Asana, and others is required.

• A love of social media. Posting, ideating, strategizing, and growing a brand’s online presence excites you. Plus, you have experience creating fun, captivating posts and reels, with smartly written captions.

• An experienced background in digital content. We’re seeking for someone to roll up their sleeves in helping us scale content across paid and organic marketing channels.
• An eye for detail, a mind for organization, and a heart for change. Projects and assignments will vary, sometimes day-to-day, which means an ability to produce high quality work under strict deadlines is a must.
• A strength in clean, smart, creative, and grammatically correct copywriting.
• A love of working both collaboratively and solely. While some projects and meetings will be in the company of team members, others will mandate independent work with minimal supervision.

You Will:

• Develop and implement marketing strategies and initiatives ensuring brand consistency in projects and social media messaging.
• Maintain brand voice and help to grow our audience across all platforms.
• Build and oversee the social media strategy and creation with the guidance of company founder and other team members.
• Engage with our social community.
• Identify paid and organic storytelling opportunities, translate them to written and visual form around our mission.
• Support our editorial director in implementing weekly articles into the CMS, as well as offering interview outreach when needed.
• Manage various creation and production projects, from regular weekly magazine and social media content to occasional video production and photo shoots.
• Assist in food photography staging.
• Coordinate with various partnership contacts and deliver needed assets.
• Assist in bolstering traffic and affiliate goals.
• Handle external guest booking for The PrimaFoodie Podcast, as well as provide other supportive outreach.

Requirements:

• Must have a dedicated home office space to work from home and be local to Nashville to allow for potential 2-3 days a week working from founder’s home.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design or related creative field required.
• 3+ years of creative services experience.
• An innovative self-starter with excellent organization, communication, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects while setting priorities and working under strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of Adobe editing programs including Premiere, Lightroom, In Design, Photoshop and Audition.
• A fluid knowledge of various social platforms, CMS systems, and related digital and creative platforms, such as Instagram, Squarespace, Mailchimp, Canva, Powerpoint, Asana, and others.
• Flexible schedule. Must be able to travel and work occasional evenings.

Commitment and Compensation:

• Our priority is finding someone who is an excellent fit and is passionate about working with us in this capacity. This role will start as a three-month contract role requiring up to 40 hours per week. If the candidate proves to be a passionate fit, the role can morph in a salaried full-time job.

Pay: $29.00 – $33.00 per hour
