The Opportunity
Prezzee is undergoing tremendous growth and we require a Frontend Software Engineer to join our team.

As a Software Engineer at Prezzee, you will have the opportunity to work with other talented engineers in small, supportive teams with all the right tools and clear requirements to let you get your best work done. You’ll be part of a collaborative agile development team and contribute by delivering quality and maintainable code whilst ensuring best practice software engineering techniques are applied at all stages of the lifecycle.
As a Software Engineer, you will play an instrumental part in fulfilling our FY23 strategic ambitions, one that is looking to disrupt the gift card and payments market globally.

Some of the technologies and patterns we’re working on

• Typescript, ReactJS, NextJS
• Django, Python
• Swift, Kotlin, Java, Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM)
• Continuous Delivery & DevOps, GraphQL, Headless CMS, Docker, AWS, ECS, Serverless, DynamoDB, Step Functions, EventBridge, Terraform and Terragrunt

Even if you dont have experience with the above, we still want to hear from you! We are happy to support you in learning new languages & technologies.

• Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• Extensive experience crafting and building software using the latest delivery techniques

• A real passion for quality, maintainable code and continuous improvement

• A strong understanding of architectural concepts and cloud-based solution design

• Highly dedicated ethos – expected to take very real accountability for the work you’re doing

• Demonstrable ability to motivate self and others, and a passion to mentor junior developers

• Experience working with technical and non-technical partners, with the capability to influence

• A test and learn mindset with curiosity, collaboration and care
