About the role

Reporting to the GM of Finance and working as part of Prestige Inhome Care’s senior leadership team, the Finance Business Partner is the trusted financial advisor to the business, who provides commercial support and analysis to stakeholders to add context and value in decision making. Delivering an effective balance of management reporting and business strategy to influence the company’s performance. Areas of responsibilities include:

Management Reporting & Analysis

• Provide financial & commercial advice, planning & reporting and analytical insights to the PIHC Leadership Team in relation to financial and commercial performance.
• Undertake extensive financial and operational analysis on key metrics, understand the drivers of the business and generate realisable actions to close variances between actuals and target to know and understand what drives the business.
• Ensure the monthly results & key drivers make sense, own the forecast process and the annual budgeting process.

SME in Projects & Commercial Support:

• Improve existing financial reporting capabilities including but not limited to the selection and implementation of BI tool, process improvement to making everybody’s life easier with accurate, easy to interpret reporting.
• Engage with key stakeholders to understand business needs, to assess financial impacts of operational initiatives.
• SME in acquisition and new business initiatives to deliver to BAU

The Finance Business Partner works as a key role within the finance team to enhance systems and processes to create business efficiencies at its core.

About you

You are comfortable in speaking up, to challenge managers, and to hold up the mirror to the business. You’re confident in building relationships with excellent communication skills to be able to get the message across and get a discussion going. You are not just accurate in your work process, you are also honest and positive. What you say is what you mean.

You’ve worked in fluid/agile operating environments, adept at working with uncertainly and ambiguity. You are always willing to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to improve. You have a track record in being able to breakdown and articulate complex problems and propose alternative solutions.

You have an innate ability for analysis and problem solving. You see things from many angles, and you don’t rest until you’ve found a solution. You’re well known for being methodical and accurate and take pride in your process and systematic way of getting things done. This combined with your commercial acumen and your ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team and with a range of stakeholders allows you to flex your influencing skills and people trust you.

You are looking for a real chance to support and make a difference as an integral part of the finance team and the business. Alongside a CA or CPA qualification, you will be tech savvy, with very strong Excel skills and practical experience in upline reporting – both management and external reporting. Solid understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
