Prescient Solutions has an immediate requirement for a proven IT Manager who shares our commitment and believes in the value of communication and client interaction. As an IT Manager, you will oversee the IT infrastructures, application development projects and personnel at various client sites. You will establish, maintain, and provide the engineering direction needed to connect and configure servers on enterprise networks. You will also be responsible for working cross-functionally across our clients’ enterprise between technology and the rest of their business to design and implement large scale solutions. Lastly, you will implement Prescient Solutions’ best practices and continually update skills and certifications to keep current with the most current technology.

Manages the IT operations of client accounts

Ensures that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved in-line with objectives by quickly resolving application, hardware, software, network and service issues;

Addresses all aspects of first, second and third level technical support

• Maintains records of new procedures and account documents;

Schedules and directs systems upgrades and maintenance;

Contributes to the development of the team, including recruitment and performance appraisals; and

Promotes a collaborative work environment both within the team and with other consulting managers and coworkers.

COMPETENCIES

Technical expertise of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy, Cisco Networking, Fortinet Firewall & SD-WAN, VMware, Linux, IBMi, Microsoft 365, Dell/EMC Hardware;

Experience developing strategies and tactics into overall management approach;

Experience training and mentoring direct reports to design and achieve personal and professional development objectives;

Proven Client and Project Management capabilities; and

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION

• Microsoft certification or equivalent experience; or

Minimum of five years of managerial experience, including systems administration, application development projects and personnel.
