Preqin’s Global Talent Acquisition team is responsible for discovering and hiring the best talent across our 11 global offices. The Global Talent Acquisition team works with Preqin’s global hiring leaders, partnering to develop innovative recruiting strategies to attract, assess and hire the best talent to empower Preqin’s growth across the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions.

Role Overview: *

As a Talent Acquisition Associate at Preqin your role will focus on proactively attracting, sourcing, and assessing top talent from across APAC to support our four main APAC offices (Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Sydney). You’ll also be responsible for guiding candidates through our hiring process and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
As member of the Global Talent Acquisition team, you will partner with APAC hiring leaders to provide subject matter advice on recruitment, candidate engagement and pipeline generation. Alongside operational responsibilities you will also support the Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist in the strategic delivery of recruitment projects.
Responsibilities: Roles and Responsibilities:

• Utilize both standard and creative sourcing strategies to identify and assess top talent across Research, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Software Engineering (passive and active)
• Reviewing resumes and assessing candidates’ applications, pre-screening candidates, submitting candidates to hiring managers and preparing candidates for interviews
• Developing a detailed understanding and awareness of each business unit and its organization to improve the quality and alignment of recruitment support
• Maintain network of candidates using the applicant tracking system iCIMS and LinkedIn Recruiter
• Managing candidate and hiring manager expectations to ensure a smooth recruiting process
• Well versed in employment laws and best-practices to ensure compliance with federal, state and local requirements in all hiring and employee relations practices
• Actively assist the regional Talent Acquisition Specialist in managing the internal mobility programme, referral programme and the management of recruitment data and statistics
• Supporting the regional Talent Acquisition Specialist in the development and success of various talent related projects such as employer branding, graduate recruitment, Diversity & Inclusion partnerships and recruitment training
• Supporting the regional Talent Acquisition Specialist in the delivery of added value services such as market trend reports, salary benchmark data, job description advice, recruitment process re-engineering
• Supporting other general human resources/office functions

Qualifications: Key Requirements for this Role:

• At least 6 months to 1 years’ worth of direct recruitment experience working with hiring managers and candidates to deliver a high-quality candidate experience throughout the process
• Experience advertising roles via LinkedIn as well as other job boards such as Glassdoor & indeed
• High volume In-house recruiting experience is preferred. Our team manages an average of 20-25 requisitions per person
• Experience using and managing candidates through an Applicant Tracking System
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written. Ability to communicate with hiring managers across different departments, teams, regions, and hierarchy
• Excellent stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage a range of stakeholders from across the business, building relationships, expectations, and confidence with hiring managers
• Excellent time management skills. Ability to manage your workload effectively and prioritise your work accordingly depending on task importance and deadlines set
