This is the summary description of the bookkeeping job position at Tite-Dri Industries.

Main responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping responsibilities
• Data entry of purchase orders, vendor’s bills, vendor’s credits, create customer’s invoices and customer’s credit memos as directed.
• Record credit card charges and credit card credits.
• Reconcile the company’s monthly bank statements and monthly credit cards.
• Coordinate with managers and/or directors of each of the company’s divisions to obtain support documentation of expenses and credit card charges before reconciling, as necessary.
• Process scheduled and non-scheduled vendor’s and other payments as requested by managers and/or officers of the company. Issue payment checks as needed.
• Maintain up to date account payables and account receivables of the company.
• Payroll functions as required by the company: entering employees hours worked in payroll software (ADP) and processing payroll, maintain up to date employees files/recruiting/new enrollments.
• Open communication to facilitate the chief financial officer to oversee the bookkeeping, supervise financial records, do tax planning, and tax compliance.
• Keep the company’s filing and record-keeping system.
• Administrative responsibilities
• Oversees proper utilization of all office space: offices, meeting rooms, kitchen, break room, rest rooms, supplies storage spaces. Organize as needed, contract cleaning and/or repair services as needed, etc.
• Answering the phone/taking messages/redirecting calls when needed.
• Request quotes to vendors/price comparison of operating supplies as needed.
• Handling mail.
• Planning, scheduling, coordinating, and supporting company meetings and events.
• Other diverse activities as required by Management.

Required experience: Bookkeeping responsibilities using QuickBooks online or Desktop Enterprises (at least 1 year)

Skills: Bilingual (English / Spanish).
