Premise Holdings Hiring for Environmental Engineer Job at Orange Full Time

We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our team in Orange, NSW, on a full-time basis. This position would provide you exposure with working on a diverse range of projects. You will be working with developers, state government agencies, local Councils, external consultants and our own team of in-house professionals.

Our goal is to provide a service that exceeds client’s needs for a quality and professional project that is delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering/Science/Engineering (or equivalent/similar discipline).
• 1 – 5 Years experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and contribute to various environmental and engineering deliverables, such as impact assessments, management plans, studies, investigations and audits.
• Work with the Principal Environmental Engineer to solve problems through identifying solutions, developing concept designs, then refining these outcomes to conceptual design deliverables; including the preparation of associated documentation and reporting.
• Develop a thorough working knowledge of relevant industry guidelines including effluent reuse guidelines, reuse sustainability guidelines, landfill guidelines and soil and water management guidelines.
• Undertake field inspections, sampling and reporting for various environmental projects.
• Undertake site suitability assessments and prepare impact assessment documentation for waste and water reuse schemes.
• Learn to utilise various software programs relevant to tasks. This would include GIS, MUSIC and various hydrologic and hydraulic modelling software.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the Orange Raw Water Supply system and monitoring requirements and assist the Principal Environmental Engineer with auditing and reporting.
• Develop an understanding of environmental licensing and reporting and assist other team members with data management and reporting.
• Undertake total water cycle assessments utilising appropriate software. This will require learning how to use and apply the various software packages used by Premise.
