Premier Staffing Source, Inc. is seeking a Finance Consultant to work an assignment in Providence, RI.

Responsibilities

Essential job functions include:

• Oversees and manages vendor contracts partnering with FA to ensure appropriate spenddown of Testing budget
• Manages programs relating to licensing, MPAs, contracts, contract extensions, and agreements to include, but not limited to: test site licensing, biowaste removal, rapid test procurement, specimen collection, and lab services
• Analyzes current and past financial data to assist Testing Lead in forecasting future operations and FY budget costs
• Manages vendor communications relating to contract requirements, invoicing, and budget-oriented efforts
• Works with Testing Lead, Deputy Head, and FA to complete RFIs relating to MPAs, contracts, FEMA and grant requirements, and other agency agreements among vendors and partners
• Drives programmatic support for governance and requests for budget increases pertaining to the Testing team
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

Due to the nature of this work, the selected candidate must have sufficient education, training, and experience to demonstrate the possession and direct application of the following knowledge and abilities:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Analysis of financial reports, components, relationships, impacts and recommendations.
• Financial and Accounting software, databases, and financial applications.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot tables, lookups, Match Index, arrays. Macros a plus.
• Knowledge of Other Microsoft Office applications
• Judgement, Problem solving skills, Methodical and Process driven
• Attentive to detail, Quality, Integrity and Ethics
• Managing through systems
• Communication of ideas, concepts, and financial results (verbal, presentation, reports, written statements)
• Analytical skills: Reviewing data and trends, what it means and what can be done to change the outcomes
• Prolonged sedentary / desk work in an office environment/home office. Prolonged standing while in facilitated training sessions.
• Work independently, outgoing, build quick relationships of trust, developing systems of mutual benefit.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor Degree in finance or related field
• 5+ years’ experience developing, analyzing, and issuing financial reports, statements of financial condition

Must be able to work a minimum of 35 hours a week and work a flexible schedule.
