Premier Relocations Hiring for Warehouse Assistant/Forklift Operator at Novi, MI Full Time

Premier Relocations is looking for an experienced, full-time Warehouse Assistant for our Novi, MI location – $20/hr. with weekly pay.

Typically, this will be Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm and some Saturday’s during our busy season (through late fall).

Premier Relocations is an established, licensed and insured, full-service moving and warehouse storage company based in Novi, MI. As one of the leading Mayflower Transit agents in the United States, Premier provides local, intrastate, and interstate moves, corporate and commercial relocations, and secure warehouse facilities for short-to-long-term storage of goods.

In this role you will assist the Sr. Warehouseman in the following activities:

• Loading / Unloading of trucks, containers and crates using forklift (swing reach), or pallet jack/handcart.
• Inventory Management using RF Scanner and Management System
• Assembling crates for shipping or storing customer items.
• Picking, and staging customer stored items from warehouse
• Pad-wrapping and packing furniture and other items.
• Palletizing goods, including banding, when necessary.
• Assisting Sr. Warehouseman, Operations, and other team members, as necessary

Qualifications for Warehouse Assistant:

• Prior experience working in a warehouse.
• Must be able to lift 25-50+ lbs. frequently throughout the day.
• Willing to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shift.
• 1+ years of certified Forklift/Hilo experience (Swing Reach preferred)
• Ability to hand-carry or use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items around.
• Ability to read and write to follow quality and related instructions.
• Must maintain standards to meet internal and external customer demand.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Willingness to fill in other job functions and duties, if needed
