Premier are currently engaged with a well-established client in the Kidderminster area, who require an IT Senior Analyst to assist in Involvement with and leading local projects, developing processes and maintaining infrastructure and network systems
 
The successful IT Senior Analyst will be tasked with providing all levels of support to colleagues that are office based and remote, including occasional onsite visits to customer locations. Supporting IT and communications systems installed at UK offices and remote customer sites ensuring their reliability and efficiency for colleagues.
 
Responsibilities – IT Senior Analyst:

• Responsible for managing helpdesk priorities and meeting expectations while working to deadlines.
• Maintain IT infrastructure and network security across all UK sites.
• Form and maintain mutually supportive relationships with IT specialists.
• Administer and manage notebooks, desktops, servers, and infrastructure.
• Administer and manage telephony systems (both fixed line, data and mobile).
• Provide technical support to colleagues and management in all IT matters and researching the more complex issues that may arise through to solution.
• To keep up to date with technologies appropriate to the role and to provide proposals on improving existing technology, practices, and procedures within the department.
• IT Project planning, implementation, and support to meet delivery deadlines.
• To carry out any other duties as reasonably required commensurate with the nature of the job.

 
Skills – IT Senior Analyst:

• Min 5 years’ experience in IT Support / IT Helpdesk environment, in a 2nd line support role (some 3rd line knowledge would be of benefit)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with a flexible and positive approach to work
• Valid UK driving licence and Passport
• Windows 10/11 / Microsoft 365 / MS Teams
• Servers (physical and virtual) / Hyper V / VMware
• Windows Server – 2019 / Backup Veeam
• Apple iOS & iPadOS
• Knowledge of LAN fundamentals – routers, switches, firewalls
• Experience of Active Directory / Group Policy / Exchange / SharePoint
• Experience of conferencing solutions such as Cisco Webex / MS Teams / Skype
• Support and troubleshooting of laptop/desktop hardware and peripheral devices (inc. printers)
• Experience of working in an ITIL based environment
• Ability to prioritise support work and provide clear reports to senior colleagues
• Ability to work autonomously and occasionally out of normal hours
• Ability to manage your time effectively and work remotely when required
