User Interface Software Engineer

We have an immediate need for a UI Software Engineer. Want to join a talented team of engineers who develop, sustain, upgrade, and enhance software and full system solutions using the latest development tools, libraries, and techniques?

What you will be doing :

As the UI Software Engineer you will support development of the new RAD tool, merging existing Agency tools and enterprise solutions into a modernized, converged architecture.

The UI Software Engineer will collaborate with system engineers and software engineers to design, develop, install, deploy, operate, and manage the user interface and will collaborate with User Experience (UX) / web designers and back-end developers to improve usability.

What you need :

Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Four (4) years of additional developer experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

• Minimum of 4 years of software development experience
• Clearance : Active TS / SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required to be considered for this role

Required technical skills include experience with :

• JavaScript (Vue.js preferred)
• HTML
• Translating customer needs and UX designs into functional and appealing interactive applications
• Enforcing high quality graphics standards and brand consistency
• Developing for Section 508 user accessibility compliance

Additional desired technical skills may include experience with :

• Docker
• JSON
• Current Agency ing tools and solutions
• Agile software development practices
• Jira and Confluence
