Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. has an immediate opening for a National Sentry Cylinder Tracking Field Operations Manager to join our team located in Houston, TX.

The National Sentry Cylinder Tracking Field Operations Manager is responsible for the administration and analysis of Linde Gas & Equipment Inc.

Cylinder Tracking program operations in our plants, stores, distribution function and customer audits.

National Sentry Cylinder Tracking Field Operations Manager

Understands cylinder tracking program, handheld functionality, and JD Edwards to provide support on all aspects of cylinder tracking implementation and administration.

Must have a strong understanding of plant, store and distribution operations as well as the order to cash cycle.

Provide support to all regions for Sentry related issues / questions presented through Sentry Support, LG&E Self Help Portal, LG&E Assistance, and direct contact.

Manage these requests by directly resolving the issue or re-directing to the appropriate person or department.

Perform as the Sentry “Super User” responsible for new users, new locations, data clean up, requests and troubleshooting.

Maintain current location lists in all tools such as LinTrack and the process integrators.

Oversight of the Sentry Audit process, working directly with the 4 regions. Focus on training, process improvement, ease of use, tools, and best practices.

Monitor the timeliness of audit reconciliation.

• Assist in the coordination and preparation of large multi-ship-to audits. Lead the local team through the physical cylinder audit as requested by the region including preparation, visiting the customer, counting the cylinders at customer sites, reconciling Sentry and JDE, and ing the results.
• Work directly with the LG&E Acquisition team and Sentry IT to coordinate and execute the successful addition of new locations into the Sentry system.
• Identify opportunities to improve the cylinder tracking process for the Sentry handheld application, Mobile APP and web function.

Work with IT programmers to resolve “bugs”, design enhancements, perform tests for new applications, s, and systems upgrades.

Monitor compliance with “inside the fence” scanning and provide training and support on key scan points such as registration, load / unload, fill scans, wireless alert resolution, and QIR.

Work with the regions to resolve barriers to clean scanning and improve overall compliance. Conduct training on the above and site visits as needed.

• Work directly with the national distribution team and IT as it relates to Sentry integration with Accustar and related programs.
• Assist with the targeted clean-up of open verifications and adjustments for key accounts or branch locations as needed or directed.

This can include training on verifications, collision resolution, and assisting region teams with workload management.

Additional projects relating to cylinder tracking for new product lines, change in business process or special cause as needed or directed.

• High School Diploma required; undergraduate degree preferred
• 3+ years’ experience required with the Sentry Cylinder Tracking Program
• Strong Excel experience preferred
• Detail Orientated
• Excellent Problem-Solving Skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence
• Ability to work independently
• Travel up to 25% may be required
