The Pratt & Whitney Talent Acquisition team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Talent Sourcer. In this role, you will lead the identification and selection of world-class diverse talent using multiple sourcing methods, provide sourcing consultation to the business, and make candidate recommendations to hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to influence the creation of dynamic job descriptions and understand the skills and abilities required for the roles
Use multiple sourcing methods to identify qualified candidates for niche positions and make recommendations to recruiters/hiring managers
Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify, pipeline and source qualified candidates
Optimize use of multiple digital tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ, Workday, Indeed, and various other job posting boards
Achieve weekly and monthly candidate submission quotas
Provide complete, accurate, timely and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position to ensure world-class candidate experience
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Pratt & Whitney, your business unit and the aerospace industry
Ensure that recruiting and hiring practices are compliant with all applicable local, state, and federal employment laws and OFCCP / EEOC guidelines
Utilize compliant and effective data management techniques to keep candidate submission statuses updated
Participate in TA projects and enterprise-wide initiatives as requested
Use data to assist in making recruiting and sourcing related decisions
Development and execution of sourcing plans to address project-based recruitment needs or in the identification and sourcing of niche and “hard to fill” skills
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of talent sourcing and/or recruitment experience or Advanced Degree and 3+ years of talent sourcing and/or recruitment experience. In absence of a degree, 9+ years of talent sourcing and/or recruitment experience is required
1 year of in house (corporate) dedicated sourcing experience
Experience utilizing a variety of candidate sourcing methods and tools (LinkedIn, Boolean Search, HireEZ, Seekout, Alumni outreach, Diversity databases, etc.)
Experience developing and executing sourcing strategies
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and/or manage clients/customers
US Person status required due to government contracts
Preferred Qualifications:
CRM (Customer Relationship Management) experience with Avature or another tool
1 year of technical sourcing (engineering, digital technology, etc.)
Expertise with Boolean search
Experience supporting remote customers
Experience sourcing in a technical or specialized capacity is preferred
Experience with engineering recruitment
Experience building a diverse candidate pipeline
