Prange Apparel LLC Hiring for Apparel Sewing Team Member at Nashville, Tennessee Full Time

Job Description:

We are a women’s apparel company hiring sewing team members. We provide on the job training so as long as you have some sewing skills, we will teach you the skills you need to sew women’s boutique apparel. We sew clothing for fashion designers and clothing brands and provide apparel for boutiques throughout the USA.

Job specific training in apparel sewing will be provided and we are seeking a highly self-motivated person.

Hours are Mon-Thurs from 7am to 5pm. You will have a four day work week at Prange Apparel so you will have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off every week and we offer health insurance that includes medical, dental and vision to our full time employees.

Responsibilities:

• Works as a team to sew women’s apparel in batches.
• Works on different sewing machines throughout the week.
• Uses tools as needed for specific sewing tasks.
• Attaches buttons, hooks, and zippers to fabric.
• Maintains speed and quality while sewing.
• Double checks work and work of others while producing garments.
• Quality checks garments if needed.
• Presses garments if needed.
• Inspects and examines garments to ensure quality and precision during sewing process.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Previous sewing experience and basic sewing skills is a plus
• Extremely high attention to detail
• Able to work in an efficient manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Able to take constructive criticism to improve quality and efficiency
• Judgment and decision making
• Time management
