PPG Industries, Inc Hiring for Office Assistant at West Chicago, IL, United States Full Time

As an Office Assistant , you will provide clerical and administrative support for the West Chicago, IL facility and various departments.

You will to the Production Manager on site in West Chicago.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for all site administrative duties including arranging facilities, supplies, meals, and other necessities for the site to support normal plant routines and plant meetings, events and executive / customer visits
• Upload and maintain information for plant communications.
• Process procurement requisitions.
• Sort and distribute incoming mail.
• Learn and serve as backup for multiple department positions (EH&S, Quality, etc.)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• A minimum of 2-year associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year related clerical / receptionist / customer service experience required
• Intermediate skills of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, required
• Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals.
• Digital literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Prior experience in SAP is a plus.
