Powys Teaching Health Board Hiring for Digital Integration Developer Job at Bronllys, Wales Full Time

The Digital Integration Developer will be responsible for developing robust software for National NHS and Powys Teaching Health Board software applications, local databases, integration engines and websites and to undertake any associated administrative tasks in accordance with advice and guidance provided by senior staff and customers.

You will work closely with the National Infrastructure teams and staff, and operational staff within Powys THB collaborating on a wide range of relevant research projects with the aim of maximising return for Powys Teach Health Board.

As the Digital Integration Developer, the post holder will work largely

autonomously under the direction of the IT Service Delivery Manager, working within agreed policies and frameworks.

The post holder must be able to: –

• Work closely with colleagues and customers and other stakeholders daily and primarily through virtual communication to complete tasks.
• Show a good understanding of Microsoft’s Power Platform Toolkit.
• Discuss progress and notify senior staff of impediments during regular team meetings such as monthly Digital Programme Board Update.
• Discuss ideas with colleagues and review tasks and priorities in collaboration with other team members and senior staff.
• Work closely with the National Infrastructure teams and staff, and operational staff within PTHB collaborating on a wide range of relevant digital systems and projects.
• Contribute ideas on how the team can become more effective – at regular team meetings.
• Communicate and engage with the National Wales Informatics Team (DHCW) in conjunction with the development and integration of local/national software, APIs etc.
• Present highly complex information to a wide range of stakeholders both within the Health Board and externally to ensure compliance with performance targets and strategic objectives.

As a rural health board with around 133,000 people living across an area that is a quarter of Wales, we provide as many services as possible locally. This is mainly through GPs and other primary care services, community hospitals and community services.

As we don’t have a District General Hospital, we work closely with other organisations in Wales and England to provide services for the people of Powys. We always strive to deliver as many services in Powys as possible including assessment and follow ups after treatment.
