Summary
You will work collaboratively with the helpdesk team, which is responsible for addressing tickets sent by users for resolution. You will provide customer service and technical support, as well as troubleshoot hardware and software issues. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a background in IT that wants to learn more!

Requirements:

Duties:

• Escalate user issues related to software and hardware.
• Manage the ticket system by addressing user issues.
• Escalate issues related to network and application.
• Manage IT inventory.
• Recognizes and s system outages that affect multi-users.
• Document actions taken to resolve the issue.
• Additional duties may be assigned

Additional Job Requirements

• Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Require a vehicle to travel to multi-sites as needed.
• Willing to take shift rotations.
• Onsite on-call during network emergencies.
• Agree to submit to background checks.

Expected Knowledge, Skills:

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with building and break-fix workstations and printers.
• Understanding of Network and Wireless concepts (LAN/WAN).
• Experience in configuring handheld scanners is a plus.
• Familiar with Active Directory concepts.
• Experience in server configuration and setup is a plus
• Willing to learn new technologies.
• Good communication skills.
• Team player.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• Associate degree.
• One year in an IT support role.

Certifications (preferred but not required):

• CompTIA A+
• Networking +
