Current Leadership Team

• Hamed Babai, founder of Power Kiosk, received his Ph.D. from Northwestern University in 2011 with a degree in Engineering. After working in the energy brokerage business, Hamed went off to build Power Kiosk from the ground up.
• Steve Joung, Managing Partner, is the former co-founder and CEO of Chicago-based Pangea Properties. Pangea was named #1 fastest growing Chicago business in 2013 with over 400 employees. Prior to Pangea, Steve was Chief Operating Officer at Enova Financial (NYSE: ENVA) through its sale to Cash America International (NYSE: CSH) in 2008.
• Alex Ayerdi, VP of Technology, has been with the company since 2014 where he started with freelance work and ultimately joined fulltime in early 2019. Alex’s career path has led him from optimizing algorithms for gravitational wave models, helping build inventory management software for non-profits, and most recently as a Senior Architect at Guggenheim Partners in Chicago. He graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Computer Science and Anthropology. Alex has always had a dream of building a company using his technical knowledge, building awesome products that customers want to use and will become his legacy loved ones will be proud of.

Compensation and Benefits

• Full-time role based out of Chicago River North office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
