Location Description Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St.

Responsibilities Overview The Logistics Analyst is responsible for analyzing, ing, and driving improvements in the organizational / distribution metrics associated with on-time performance, cost containment and distribution / warehousing analysis.
This position will leverage existing tools and resources to extract and analyze data to identify issues and trends. This position will be expected to communicate summarizations and recommendations based on analysis performed.
This position interacts with : Customer Operations to meet customer expectations for on time delivery. Supply Chain Planning to communicate costs associated with redeployment and assist in cost and service efficiencies.
Warehousing provide requested analysis to support cost identification and mitigation. Purchasing to provide cost and service data to support bidding activities.
Plant Operations – provide requested analysis to support cost identification and mitigation. Responsibilities and Accountabilities Customer Focus Achieve & maintain alignment in the value chain between suppliers, PCB and Customer Provide logistics insights & key performance indicators (KPIs) to support customer metrics.
Research customer penalty fees related to logistic issues. Technical / Functional Expertise Spotfire / Tableau and Transportation Management (BluJay)Systems Utilize various data presentation tools to analyze cost and performance data.
Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to research data capturing capacity across carriers, lanes, PCB facilities, and customers to maintain service and provide lowest delivered cost.
Use EDI Technology to manage and leverage ing of carrier activities. Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Local Facility Transportation Liaison Provide information and analysis of On-Time Delivery results to Transportation Management and Supply Chain stakeholders.
Monitor and manage key performance metrics for motor carriers and freight vendors and provide actions to improve upon these key metrics.
Technology Provide feedback regarding system performance and offer solutions to improve systems, procedures, or operating standards.
Recommend technology solutions to enhance data integrity and analysis. Results on key performance metrics, including but not limited to : On-Time Delivery to Buyer Request Date, and On-Time Delivery to Carrier Appointment Identify and quantify opportunities in transportation and logistics to reduce supply chain costs and improve service.
Ability to translate and present data to senior leadership. Act Develop strong relationships with transportation vendors and internal PCB contacts and be a liaison between them.
Proactively establish and implement countermeasures to negative trends. Organization and People Development Develop yourself against the competency profiles for successful leaders at PCB.
Provide leadership within the transportation team and cross-functionally represent the group as a professional and viable resource for the company to customers, both internally and externally.
Other Perform other projects, functions, and services as required or assigned. Requirements Skills : Broad knowledge of logistics processes and planning systems.
Cost control, cost : benefit analysis and the implementation of productivity improvements. Good communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated good business judgment; good understanding of economic principles affecting decisions related to transportation.
Good understanding of modes of transportation including international and rail, shipping lanes and material handling. Ability to use technology as a decision support tool.
Skill in prioritizing workloads and stress management. Qualifications Education 4-year college degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or applicable field of study.
Professional certification in transportation is desirable (e.g., APICS, CLTD). Experience Two to four years of experience operating in a supply chain / Logistics environment in areas of operations, materials management, warehousing, transportation planning, or carrier management.
Location This role is in our Lakeville, MN office with a hybrid schedule of in office 3 days per week. #LI-hybrid
