About you:

We are currently seeking a Rostering Officer with relevant experience, who can assist with the day to day rostering requirements of the organisation. This is a challenging and fulfilling position for a self-motivated person who is highly skilled at prioritising their workload to meet business critical needs.

This position will be based in Hobart at our Clydesdale Office with reasonable flexibility on working from home. Please note, the working hours for this role will be between 6 am and 8 pm Monday to Sunday on a roster system and between 6am and 8pm Monday to Friday during the training period.

The successful person for this role will be equally comfortable working independently or as part of a highly skilled team. To be the successful applicant, your application will demonstrate that you have strong analytical and problem solving skills; well-developed written and verbal communication skills; highly developed software literacy skills, specifically in rostering packages.

About the role:

Fixed Term, December 2022 – July 2023, Part Time (46 hours per fortnight). Attractive hourly rate.

The Rostering Officer will, in conjunction with the Service Supervisors, ensure that shifts are filled in a timely manner. They will also ensure hours worked by employees are monitored regionally to ensure employees are working within any industrial relation obligations.

What’s essential:

• 1-2 years Disability industry experience and/or:
• Previous experience in a Rostering/Workforce Planning position.
