Part-Time Clinic Office Assistant

Location: Deerfield, Illinois

Job Type: Part-Time

Hourly: $18-$22 an hour (based on requirements/qualifications)

Clinical Assistant

What you will do:

• Answer phones, manage mail and greet families and visitors as they enter the clinic.
• Assist therapists in the development and preparation of therapy materials:
  • Develop board maker materials, social stories, calendars, etc.
  • Therapy menus, food purchasing, meal prep and clean up for the S.O.S Feeding program
• Purchase therapy materials, office supplies, safety and maintenance equipment.
• Assist in facilities management, reorganizing space, updating clinic signage and room assignments for sessions
• Update client records in the EHR on an ongoing basis and for special projects
• Other activities as needed

This role will to the Regional General Manager.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a healthcare administration role
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
• Has a sense of urgency and excellent time management skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be comfortable learning new technologies
• Available in the afternoon
• Looking for a Part Time role consisting of 20 hours per week Mon thru Thurs (Flexible schedule)
