Positec is looking for a Corporate Recruiter to join our North American Headquarters, this position is based in Charlotte, NC. You will be a part of developing the future.

Positec is known for its production of the WORX’s; Rockwell Tools brands which can be found in the major big box home retailers; like Lowe’s, Target, Amazon, and Walmart.

About the job

The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for finding, recruiting, hiring and retaining talented candidates. The Corporate Recruiter will be in charge of planning, developing and implementing a new and productive Talent Acquisition strategy for the company.

Essential Functions:

• Perform analysis of hiring needs and provide employee hiring forecast
• Design, plan and execute selection processes (conduct interviews and screening calls, administer psychological tests etc.)
• Source and find candidates qualified for open position
• Reviews employment applications and background check reports
• Find bottlenecks in the recruiting process and provide solutions to address/correct bottlenecks.
• Perform candidate and employee satisfaction evaluations and workshops
• Plan procedures for improving the candidate experience
• Suggest measures for improving employee retention
• Oversee recruitment agencies and contractor recruiters
• Use sourcing methods for hard-to-fill roles
• Attend career and college fairs, and similar events
• Plan employee referral program
• Determine recruiting KPIs
• Create and present KPI reports

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques
• Familiarity with a variety of different selection methods (interviews, assignments, psychological test etc.)
• Experience with HRIS, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools
• Ability to motivate employees
• A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of HR experience
• Hands on experience with posting jobs on social media and job boards
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), ATS, and HRIS.
