Outdoor Education Teacher/Instructor

Pay Range: Teacher MPR plus SEN

£19,340 – 30,172 plus £2,384

FTE: 1.0

Contract: Permanent

This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant, innovative and supportive team. Experience and understanding of learners with SEMH needs is essential along with positive regulation support and attachment aware approaches

We are looking for creative, motivated, enthusiastic, and good-humoured individuals, who are committed to improving outcomes for pupils with a range of SEMH developmental needs, and is able to develop excellent relationships with both highly vulnerable and challenging pupils.

The right applicant will;

• Have experience of/and qualifications to lead a range of outdoor adventurous activities.
• Have full and clean driving licence with own transport and flexibility to move across the City.
• Be able to develop, deliver, monitor and evaluate a programme of creative, flexible and external accredited learning opportunities that meet the individual social, emotional and mental health needs of a small group of highly vulnerable and challenging pupils.
• Be able to take lead responsibility for the effective development, planning, delivery, recording, monitoring and evaluation of progressive accredited learning pathways in outdoor education to meet the individual needs of pupils.
• Be able to assess, monitor and record pupil’s progress and attainment.
