Ports America Hiring for Recruiter – Talent Acquisition Job at Baltimore, MD Full Time

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will be responsible for using their professional experience to develop candidate pipelines for requisitions, build relationships with hiring managers and HR managers to understand the hiring needs and provide the best experience for candidates and our hiring teams.

Essential Duties:

• Ensure candidates have an amazing experience with Ports America throughout the recruitment process.
• Collaborate with Hiring Managers to understand the position requirements and organizational fit.
• Ability and experience in creative sourcing through multiple channels (web, social/professional networks, etc.)
• Create and execute innovative sourcing strategies and recruiting campaigns to achieve hiring goals.
• Proactively communicate with candidates to engage them about current openings and most suitable position.
• Remain in contact with qualified/passive candidates until a suitable position becomes available.
• Conduct screening interviews with candidates and present the most qualified to conduct a more detailed interview.
• Understands and adheres to compliance, diversity and talent acquisition processes goals who shares our high impact culture, core values, and passion for delivering incredible service to our customer with each and every candidate.
• Engage internal and external viewers/followers on LinkedIn, Yammer and other social media sites to promote Talent Acquisition activities and open positions.
• Identify, engage and represent Ports America Talent Acquisition at career fairs.
• Evolve, and continuously communicate the company’s employee value proposition to all appropriate stakeholders, e.g., prospects, candidates, executives, hiring managers, universities, employees, communities.
• Lead content development of communication materials to be used throughout the talent acquisition process (i.e., careers website, online applications, brochures, university events, etc.).
• Maintains accurate applicant records and data in applicant tracking system.

Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience, Certifications):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or other related field required. MBA, Master’s degree in human resources development field desired.
• Minimum 7 years talent acquisition or related experience preferred.
• Experience with various applicant tracking systems and recruitment/employment job boards
• Proven experience using creative sourcing techniques to identify top talent for hard-to-fill positions
• Experience developing programs for strategic talent acquisition and retention required.
• Project implementation and change management experience; proven ability to influence and gain commitment from others.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work independently.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• A balance of strategic thinking with the ability to focus on the details necessary to execute the strategy.
• Strong project and/or program management skills with understanding of the technology lifecycle.
• Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify problems, make decisions, create solutions, and take action.
• Adaptability to work with people from various cultures and areas of the business.
• Extremely detail oriented, proactive and organized.
• Knowledge of the principles and practice of employment administration.
