Salary: $84,479 – $100,872 per year

Portland Public Schools (PPS) is actively seeking a Student Success Programs Manager who will serve as the functional visionary and lead for family partnership and home visits, under GEAR UP E3 and the Office of Community Engagement. This role manages staff, leads district-wide program design and implementation, strategic planning, outreach, communications and evaluation. With the District’s focus on eliminating systemic racism and its adverse impact on student learning, we seek to hire individuals who bring to our district a deep commitment to racial equity and social justice.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Social Work or a related field.
• Familiarity with the schools and communities of Portland Public Schools.
• 3 years of experience working with children and/or adolescents on academic, social and/or emotional life-skills behaviors or 1 year as a Student Success Program Supervisor or 2 years as a Student Success Advocate.
• Any other combination of education, training and experience essential for this classification may be considered.

On August 19th, 2021, Gov. Kate Brown announced that all Oregon K-12 educators, staff and volunteers will be required to be fully vaccinated by October 18th, 2021 or six weeks after full federal approval, whichever is later. Exceptions to this requirement are limited to Medical or Religious exceptions.
