Key Responsibilities
As a Supervisor, In-Flight Services, you will perform regular ramp inspections to validate Cabin Crew compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations, workplace safety, and Porter’s Brand and Service Standards. You will participate in operations to ensure on-time performance and be responsible for the supervision of In-Flight Operations as it relates to cabin crew. Your duties include performing internal audits on operational processes, reviewing Purser Reports to provide resolutions and follow-ups with internal departments, and monitoring attendance reports. You will mentor, coach, and motivate Cabin Crew to uphold the highest standards of safety and ensure consistent delivery of premium onboard service. As a key liaison, you will counsel Cabin Crew daily, open channels of communication, and address morale issues while escalating major concerns to the Director, In-Flight Services. You will provide care and assistance in abnormal situations, conduct performance assessments to ensure compliance with safety, service, grooming, and company policies, and provide immediate feedback with performance tracking. You will also monitor and coach probationary Flight Attendants and Pursers, participate in the disciplinary process, and actively engage in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS), including reporting, investigating, and auditing hazards and incidents. Additionally, you will handle catering issues, address concerns, and assist in implementing new initiatives, along with any other duties assigned by the Manager, In-Flight Services.

Requirements
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the airline industry, with previous cabin crew experience and airport operational experience considered preferred assets. Leadership experience of 2 to 5 years in an elevated role is also an important asset. The role requires flexibility for irregular hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, along with availability to be on call. The candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to follow up proactively and provide constructive feedback. A sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, as well as excellent safety and customer service knowledge. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. The candidate must successfully complete the initial cabin crew training and be able to operate as a crew member when required. A current, valid Canadian passport or an international passport with a valid US Crewmember Visa (C-1/D) is mandatory, along with the ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) and successfully complete the company screening process.
