Portakabin Hiring for HR Advisor at York Full Time

Are you looking for a new challenge in a growing and successful business? We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the Hire Division HR team to be based at our head office in York.
As a HR Advisor you will support the Senior HR Business Partner and the Hire Division HR team in delivering the People and Culture strategy across various locations in England and Wales. You will be responsible for delivery of a full range of human resource services providing expert advice, support and guidance on a range of people related matters. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in Project work such as developing and delivering training material on People Management.
Role Details

• Salary/Hourly Rate: £28,000 – £30,000
• Role based: York, YO32 9PT
• Contract type: Fixed Term – 12 Months (Maternity Cover)
• Annual leave: 25 plus bank holidays

Role Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle from advertising through to offer stage in area of responsibility working with the hiring managers to ensure momentum is kept and Senior HR Business Partner informed.
• Support ER cases including absence management, health & wellbeing, flexible working, investigation, disciplinary and grievance ensuring company policy is adhered to at all times.
• Ensure effective absence management case work, conducting trend analysis and providing reports and highlighting concerns to the Senior HR Business Partner and management as appropriate. Conduct monthly audits to ensure Return to Work documents are completed correctly and uploaded to the HRIS.
• Guide and support a positive health and wellbeing culture through promotion of services available, supporting line managers in health and wellbeing conversations, arranging occupational health and other external referrals as required and linking with HSE Business Partners regarding risk assessments.
• Support with all learning & development requirements including development plans, skills and competence matrices.
• Lead and support on allocated people related projects to drive improvements and deliver the overall people and culture strategy.
