Port X Logistics is changing the landscape of the traditional drayage industry; we cater to the quick transfer of goods overland to meet our customer’s urgent domestic deadlines and delivery needs.

We are a new company and growing quickly. We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team of Port X Ambassadors. We are currently accepting resumes from applicants with Container Drayage experience.

An ideal candidate for the Logistics Coordinator position will be able to perform the following duties and possess the identified skills :

Duties

• Full understanding or ability to learn how to run the intermodal drayage process start to finish with a basic understanding of TMS software and how it works.
• Assist customers with order status inquiries and special needs.
• Problem resolution in the movement of domestic containerized cargo.
• Dispatch Drivers locally.
• Manage and schedule driver work to efficiently meet appointments and cutoffs.
• Assist drivers with terminal issues associated with container / chassis pull & termination.
• Keep inventory of containers and chassis among various container yards.
• Data entry.

Skills

• Basic understanding of container drayage and management.
• Basic knowledge & understanding of Microsoft Office or related software programs.
• Be able to understand, embrace and encompass the Port X Logistics BRAND, and cooperation in being a Brand Ambassador for the company and what Port X represents.
• Time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to network over different social platforms.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in any field preferred.
• Candidate should have minimum of one year experience in a relatable logistics role.
