On a typical day this role will:

• Perform a diverse range of general accounting duties
• Help to ensure the integrity of Council’s financial systems is maintained through strong processes and controls
• Provide excellent customer service

Remuneration and Benefits

Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary (up to 12 months), 35 hours per week

Salary (exclusive of super): Starting salary of $1,129.80 per week with the opportunity for competency based progression

The Financial Services Team
Providing services a nd support to both our community and internal stakeholders, our financial services team looks after our operations of water and rates, accounts payable and receivable, payroll as well as strategically in the areas of capital budgeting, treasury, reporting and financial planning and growth.
