About the Position

We are looking for people who are passionate about providing household employers with an amazing customer experience. You will guide our clients and prospective clients through our payroll services, explain the ins and outs of payroll taxes, and solve real problems for our clients. You will do so in a fast-paced and supportive working environment, all while jumpstarting your career in the high growth tech industry.

This position involves a mix of at home and in office work. Most of our employees spend two days a week in the office, which is in downtown Boulder.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

• You will answer client inquiries via email and live phone.

• You will explain payroll, payroll taxes, our services and our site to clients and prospective clients.

• You will meet (virtually or in-person) with the team to stay up to date on tax issues, our products and features and to provide your thoughts on how to best meet our clients’ needs.

• You will work with the Customer Success Manager to resolve more complicated customer issues.

• You will communicate with state and federal agencies about our clients’ accounts.

Here’s who we’re looking for:

• You have no less than 2 years of work experience including some customer-facing experience.

• You have an aptitude with numbers and tax concepts.

• You are a great written and verbal communicator and enjoy teaching new concepts to clients.

• You are a patient listener who has a genuine desire to solve client problems.

• You enjoy working in a fast paced environment and spending much of your day on the phone with clients.

• You are a consummate teammate who takes ownership in your work.

• You are a reliable and ethical person.

Our compensation is comprised of a base salary and a quarterly bonus based on growth. We have been consistently growing at a rapid rate, and our employees love our compensation structure. We cover 75% of our employees’ health and dental premium. Our employees can also participate in our 401K plan, in which we match 50% of their contributions up to a maximum of 5% of their salary.
