Poll Everywhere Hiring for Finance Manager, FP&A Job at Remote Full Time

This is a hands-on role that will help shape our future.

The company consists of over 60 team members and has grown revenue every year. We go to market with a hybrid approach: an enterprise sales team and a self-service freemium SaaS offering. Objectives

• Work with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to strategically resource plan through our transition to Enterprise software.
• Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and positions to the ELT and the Board.
• Run and maintain an annual company budget process that includes input from the whole company.
• Maintain accurate budget balances for individual departments and managers to facilitate budget autonomy.
• Work with our bookkeeper, Board, ELT, and outside counsel to prepare and ensure that the appropriate tax documents and company documents are on time and delivered.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Success, and Support to improve Accounts Receivable

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis to provide strategic decision support to company leadership
• Manage budgeting and planning, forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting
• Oversee the company’s accounting function, including revenue management, payables, A/R and collections, asset management, and taxes
• Manage external service providers and a small internal team of 1-2 professionals
• Own standard financial statements, including balance sheet, P&L, and statement of cash flows and prepare required materials for meetings, reports, and filings (e.g., 409a valuation)
• Accurately present and manage current and future cash position

Quarterly and annual responsibilities

• Support outsourced tax accountants’ requests to ensure timely filings and payments
• Semi-Annual (or as needed) 409a valuations
• Commissions review

Skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A,/Accounting/Finance preferably in B2B SaaS
• In-depth knowledge of and experience in accounting principles, practices, and workflows; Experience with cash- and accrual-based methods and companies that have made that transition
• Experience reporting and analyzing metrics to drive business impact
• Knowledge and understanding in a data analytics tool (e.g., Excel)

• Business savvy and operational awareness in all recommendations

Pay: $117,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
