Accountant, Part-Time

Polaris Recruitment is an advertising agency specializing in recruitment. We are seeking talented candidates for the role of Accountant to work at our office just South of Dayton.

This is a part-time role requiring work at our office 20-30 hours per week. Primary responsibilities:

• Managing invoice preparation and improving the process. Details: Clerk prepares 100+ every 2 weeks, many are highly customized per client, reconcile data from other sources, involves multiple clients and sub-clients
• High volume credit card and primary vendor reconciliations (Indeed.com, Facebook, Google, etc.)
• Manage Accounts Payable and cash flow

• Account Receivable – Track overdue invoices, email and contact clients, process credit card payments
• Payroll
• This is not an all-inclusive list; duties may be added as needs develop

Qualifications:

Higher education in Accounting is preferred, the focus is on skills, experience, and attributes:

• Experience in a similar role
• Proficiency with QuickBooks
• Proficiency with Excel
• It is critical to have exceptions skills in detail-oriented work, customer service, organization, and process improvement
