Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative Hiring for Accounting Aide I Job at Portola, CA Full Time

Primary duties are to assist the accounting staff in the preparation and maintenance of the general accounting records of the Cooperative and its subsidiaries. Accounting Aide will be preparing spreadsheets, inputting data, filing, handling correspondence and faxes, and may become involved in the Accounts Payable function.

Candidate will have excellent computer skills and knowledge of accounting software, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.

Candidate must possess excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. The job necessitates working in a team environment.

Candidate must be very detail oriented and must be able to understand detailed instructions for the input or preparation of accounting spreadsheets.

Accounting Aide will report directly to the Controller.

This position is part of the IBEW Local 1245 Union. Starting pay rate is $25.30/hour
