MARKETING & COMMUNITY RELATIONS MANAGER

Marketing & Community Relations Manager is needed at an exceptional critical access, nonprofit hospital in Iowa.

The Manager, who s directly to the CEO, will direct both the marketing and community relations program with the objective of establishing communication and creating a favorable image to the community, general public, and staff.

My name is Susan Ploeger and I am the retained recruiter. I have worked with the hospital’s CEO and leadership team for 7 years. Jefferson County Health Center is located in Fairfield, IA and is a financially strong and independent critical access hospital in southeast Iowa.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

• Salary Range $65,500 – $95,500

• IPERS pension (Hospital pays 9.44% of base salary and employee pays 6.29%)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, press, staff, businesses, foundation, auxiliary and medical communities.
• Implementation of all advertising and promotional materials through internet, intranet, social media, print, radio and publications.
• Collaborates with Leadership Team to develop and implement marketing initiatives that promote various departments and services.
• Develop and manage organization’s website and social media sites by creating content, blogs, videos and other posts to promote programs and services.
• Plans and organizes the foundation golf tournament, health fair, recognition activities and other events that are determined by the CEO/Administration.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field
• Experience working in marketing and community relations
• Highly skilled in writing/editing and verbal communication
• Experience in creating marketing campaigns with successful results
• Proven digital marketing skills
