Customer Service Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end customer experience. You will be our key contact with our customers and develop a deep understanding of their business. This role will also act as the day-to-day support between our sales team and the customer. Reporting into the Managing Director, Business Development and will work closely with their assigned Business Development Managers and Engineers to support existing business clients within a specific territory.
What You Get To Do:
Process sales orders and input order specifications into ERP System (NetSuite)
Develop relationships with customers, manage their requests and proactively work with them on orders
Serve as main contact from beginning to end with accountability for customer satisfaction
Review inventory control and production plans to understand lead times and communicate those back to customers
Be an advocate for customers within the organization, confirming inventory and updating processes
Be meticulous about details, passing along relevant information to other team members
Prepare invoices, inform customers of pricing and deposits, collect payment, and distribute receipts
Be an active conduit for new sales for existing customers
Update the supporting database as necessary to ensure the data for the sales team is up to date and relevant
Log all activities correctly and act as support to the BDE/BDM team to ensure proper tracking of metrics
Participate in regional sales team meetings
Be active in cross functional team environment
All other duties as required
What We Are Ideally Looking For:
You have a bachelor’s degree (ideally in Engineering but not necessary) and 2+ years of business experience. You have the drive to push toward goals and tackle demanding tasks. You seize opportunities and know how to prioritize your time while taking responsibility for your actions. You are accountable to your objectives and key results, and you enjoy meeting new people and networking with individuals within our industry. Our core values and our purpose for being resonates with you. Essentially, we are looking for a Superstar!
The successful candidate should have sales experience within a professional services environment and be comfortable with the use of excel, use of social media, specifically LinkedIn and Twitter and be proficient with google searches
Proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP is also an asset
This environment requires a competitive and team-oriented attitude
Experience coordinating international shipping / logistics is an asset
The successful candidate should have customer service and relationship management experience within a B2B environment, in the construction industry would be an asset.

Ability to recommend and build business processes
