PLI Cards Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist at North Las Vegas, NV Full Time

Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist proactively sources talent and should have experience in a wide variety of recruitment strategies. Daily duties include managing the full cycle recruiting process, developing, and implementing strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates, actively sourcing candidates, monitoring job postings, screening and assessing applicants, and attending recruiting events. Will be responsible for filling positions in Las Vegas and City of Industry locations.

• May develop and update job descriptions to ensure accurate job postings.
• Serve as point of contact for applicants during the selection process.
• Ensure candidates are provided with timely status of applications.
• Develop and implement strategic recruiting initiatives.
• May coordinate and manage temporary staffing needs.
• Work closely with hiring managers during the recruiting process.
• Actively participate in all staffing related activities.
• Determine applicant qualifications by conducting phone interviews, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
• Coordinate all pre-employment screenings.
• Arrange management interviews with applicants.
• Extend employment offers to select applicants.
• Assist employees with applications for job posting opportunities.
• Provide career coaching to current employees not selected for open positions.
• Build successful relationships and effectively communicate with Hiring Managers.
• Point of contact for governmental workforce grants
• Develop relationships with vendors and community partners to establish and maintain pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Represent PLI at all local recruiting events.
• Run weekly status update meetings with Hiring Team.
• Other tasks as assigned by Management

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 4-5 years or recruiting experience; 1 year of experience recruiting in manufacturing is preferred.
• Associate degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Strong ATS and MS Office skills
• Must have experience using tools such as LinkedIn, job boards, and other social media outlets to source candidates
• Must be highly flexible and capable of handling multiple and shifting priorities
• Must enjoy a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Adept at presenting information to both individuals and large groups with poise and professional demeanor
• Possess a sense of urgency and persistence
• Ability to ‘think outside the box’
• Must be self-motivated with a strong ability to organize work
• Ability to work independently and employ effective organizational, project, and time management skills
