PlAyBC Fitness Hiring for Sign Language: Virtual ASL Teacher for Corporate Workshops at Remote Full Time

Seeking an experienced and entertaining ASL teacher to facilitate a one-time virtual workshop (via Zoom) to corporate professionals during business hours. The same 60-75-minute workshop will be offered to different companies, and participants are beginner hearing adults. Class format will use fingerspelling and games to cover general topics such as names, colors, emotions, alphabet, numbers, common phrases, animals, sports, music instruments, etc. and also discuss inclusion in the workplace (and beyond).

• Relevant experience teaching ASL to adults
• Relevant Zoom/virtual teaching experience
• A link to you facilitating or teaching

The ideal candidate:

• is very comfortable facilitating via Zoom
• is credentialed and experienced in his/her/their relevant field
• has at least 2 years of experience delivering workshops to adults
• is polished, professional and well spoken
• responds to emails and/or text messages in a timely manner
• is authorized to work for a US employer

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $75.00 – $125.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

Experience:

• ASL: 1 year (Preferred)
• Zoom facilitation: 1 year (Preferred)
