JOB DETAIL

This role is for a Mechanical engineer to support product design from conceptualization to production for mechanical controls products. Tasks anticipated for this role are:

• Conceptualize product features and transform requirements into product design (typically hydraulic valving and housings)
• Communicate with the other engineering personnel to coordinate the interrelated design, resolve design challenges of difficult-to-complex scope to ensure project completion
• Design a new product through an understanding of requirements including application of materials, force loads, temperature & vibration environments, and life cycle reliability.
• Implement Collins procedures and standard work to optimize efficiency and quality.
• Deliverables will include design data, layout sketches, weight, and structural integrity analysis.

Familiarity Collins systems is a plus. Experience with NX and Teamcenter is strongly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to $80,000.00 per year
