Platform/Solutions Architect – OpenShift, Linux, IaC, Ansible, IDP
Xpertise have an urgent requirement for a Platform/Solutions Architect – OpenShift, Linux, IaC, Ansible, IDP.
This role will be responsible for defining high-level architecture across the entire programme. A key focus will be designing and implementing OpenShift on-premise environments, progressing from virtualised infrastructure to bare metal, and ultimately towards hybrid deployment models.
Candidates will have the following essential skills and experience:
- Proven experience as a Platform Architect or Solutions Architect on large-scale transformation programmes
- Strong experience designing and implementing Red Hat OpenShift on-premise environments
- Experience across VM-based and bare metal deployments
- Proven experience in heavily on-premise infrastructure estates (Linux-based)
- Experience designing for containerisation at scale
- Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architecture and migration strategies
- Experience working with:
- Linux environments (VM & bare metal)
- Docker/container technologies
- GitLab (CI/CD pipelines)
- Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Ansible (automation/configuration management)
- Experience with Morpheus or similar self-service provisioning platforms
- Experience enabling developer self-service models
