As a Finance Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting Finance Business Partners and budget holders in challenging business thinking in the pursuit of informed decision making and driving business strategy. You will also deputise for the Finance Business Partners when required and support corporate objectives and encourage corporate values and behaviours throughout the team.

We want somebody who has:
Part Qualified as an Accountant (or equivalent)
You should have 5 GCSE’s or equivalent (including maths) grade 4 (C) or above.
At least one years’ experience in accounting in a large and complex organisation with substantial budgets
Experience of providing accounting information to challenging deadlines
Experience of providing an excellent customer driven service
Experience of using digital technology within a finance environment
Experience of interpreting information, carrying out research, analysing complex data, appraising performance, and managing risk
A proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced and changing environment
Who are we looking for?
Within this role you will assist in providing accurate accounting information to the group and support the Finance Business Partners in providing information, analysis and insight to budget holders and management, so ideally will have good decision-making skills and the ability to provide business insight from data and information.
This is also a highly collaborative role where you will be supporting the Finance Business Partners, budget holders and managers and will require an ability to establish strong working relationships based on respect and effective negotiation and influencing skills.
While this role is home based, you should have the ability to travel to Group offices and other locations for meetings as required. Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park, Solihull and Central Park, Worcester.
This role is to work business hours over 35 hours per week, some flexibility to work outside core hours to meet deadlines would be beneficial.
