Platform Engineer (3-8 Years) – Female Full Time

We are hiring a Platform Engineer to design and operate the core infrastructure that powers our entire engineering ecosystem.

Role Overview

As a Platform Engineer, you will build and maintain the internal developer platform and cloud infrastructure that all engineering teams rely on.

Your work will directly impact system reliability, developer productivity, and the ability to scale services for 1M+ users.

You will treat internal infrastructure as a product, focusing on developer experience, scalability, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture

Design and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)

Build scalable systems for AI workloads and product services

Manage Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration

Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.)

CI/CD & Developer Tooling

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast deployments

Implement safe release strategies (blue-green, canary, rollback)

Create internal tools to improve engineering productivity

Evaluate and integrate modern platform technologies

Observability & Monitoring

Build logging, metrics, and tracing systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)

Design alerting systems with minimal noise and fast detection

Enable debugging across distributed systems and microservices

Monitor platform health, performance, and usage

Reliability & Scalability

Design fault-tolerant and self-healing systems

Optimize performance, latency, and infrastructure cost

Build auto-scaling systems for dynamic workloads

Ensure high availability under traffic spikes

Security & Compliance

Implement secure infrastructure practices (IAM, encryption, secrets management)

Ensure compliance with privacy and data protection standards

Manage vulnerability scanning and infrastructure hardening

Collaborate on DevSecOps initiatives

Required Qualifications

3+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles

Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience

Strong programming skills (Python, Go, TypeScript, etc.)

Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code

Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools

Experience working in fast-paced engineering environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI/ML infrastructure or MLOps

Background in real-time or low-latency systems

Experience building internal developer platforms

Multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud experience

Startup experience (Seed to Series A stage)

Open-source contributions or technical writing

Compensation

$140,000 – $195,000 USD / year
