Plastic Staffing Inc Hiring for Controller (FT) at Cobourg, ON Full Time

Summary: The Financial Controller will guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. This individual will be responsible for managing company budgets and making financial decisions, analyzing and preparing reports, overseeing investments and applying risk mitigation strategies.

Job Duties:
Maintain accounts to support financial statements

Prepare monthly internal financial statements

Manage cash flow, including collections and cash disbursements

Prepare monthly reporting to the bank

Monitor bank loan covenant status

Prepare rolling forecasts for the next 2-3 months

Provide internal management reports (often Crystal Reports)

Monitor/report on Tooling Projects

Lead the SRED claim process, with technical details provided by the Engineering Manager

Prepare an annual budget with 3-year financial projections

Maintain Fixed Asset records

Complete government surveys

Manage physical inventory counts

Analyses of acquisitions

Requirements:
A current resident of Canada

CPA designation

Very strong computer skills, especially MS Excel

Experience with ERP systems (Dassault/IQMS preferred)

Two + years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Crystal Reports report writing capability

Knowledge in the Human Resources field would be considered an asset
