Finding and hiring the right employees is a strategic priority for Plan A Sarnia Chatham Windsor. We are seeking a professional recruiter with knowledge, experience and determination to locate and hire talent, and to effectively market Plan A as
Canada’s only complete people strategy ™ dedicated specifically to seniors’ care.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist has the following key responsibilities:
· Represent Plan A Sarnia Chatham Windsor as the preferred staffing solution for all health care professionals and health care partners;
· Reaching target candidates, including foreign-trained health care workers, through appropriate recruitment platforms, social media, networking, professional organizations and non-traditional sources of talent;
· Ensuring a welcoming and positive experience for all job seekers;
· Building recruitment and selection capabilities in managers, supervisors and team members;
· Implementing new technology and indicators to support recruitment efforts.
Requirements
· The Talent Acquisition Specialist works alongside the Management & Recruitment Team in developing pools of qualified health care professionals
· Work collaboratively to meet Plan A’s goals and objectives. This includes collaboration of ideas, evenly distributed workload and a positive attitude
· Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates
· Champion a positive candidate experience for all candidates
· Develop and maintain partnerships with employment-focused community organizations to attract diverse talent
· Participate in various talent acquisition events
· Act as a subject-matter expert providing talent acquisition advice and guidance to stakeholders
· Monitor global talent subsidy/grant opportunities; facilitate applications with relevant authorities; track and on successful applications
· Champion Employee Referral Program including promotion, tracking and ing
· Ensure accurate and up to date talent tracking information in candidate tracking system
· Maintain detailed and accurate interview notes in the candidate tracking system
· Efficiently and effectively fill open positions
· Along with the HR & Operations Manager & team, design and implement overall recruitment strategy
· Complete the full on-boarding process for all new employees.
· Provide analytical and detailed recruiting documents to the team
· Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
· Maintain health care designation personnel employees’ files
Professional Practice
· Act with integrity and balance the interest of all parties in carrying out HR ethical practices for all candidates and staff
· Adhere to HR legal requirements
