More about your role
This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Homes Plus has embarked on an exciting people first journey and we need your help with the next steps! We are working to support our managers and colleagues to deliver an operational and cultural transformation across Homes Plus.
In this generalist role, you will support managers across Homes Plus, gaining exposure to an array of teams; such as neighbourhoods, the customer contact centre, tenancy enforcement, landscapes and trade operatives. This role is truly flexible and collaborative, and full of variety. You will work between the teams to manage complex employee relations cases and also upskill management capabilities through the design and delivery of training workshops, engendering a culture where managers can manage effectively. You will develop close working relationships with operational managers to become a trusted advisor to the teams in order to mitigate risk, deliver best practice and build capabilities.
You will also have the opportunity utilise data in order to identify trends and work collaboratively with the People Partners to develop business solutions from data analysis. As part of your role, you will also carry out a number of wider People projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to join a fast-paced, hard-working, and collaborative team in order to further their career in HR.
This is a homebased role, however you will on occasion need to travel. Our offices are based across the UK in Preston, Leeds, Sheffield, Bristol, Milton Keynes or Edinburgh.

More about you
We are looking for someone who wants to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in. To be successful in this role, you need to be a self-starter who enjoys hard work and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Crucially, you will be an excellent influencer. In this role, it’s essential to build and sustain strong working relationships with your stakeholders. You will need to know your stuff (legally) and turn this into a language that managers understand. If you can show us how you influence people in order to achieve the desired outcome, even better.
Also, you will need to be proactive, with a clear ability to demonstrate how you use case trackers to manage workloads. We are really interested to hear about examples of where you have worked to tight deadlines, prioritised higher-risk work and collaborated with your HR colleagues.
This role is suited to someone who has a CIPD qualification under their belt, ideally at a Level 3 or 5 (or working towards). We are flexible as to where you are based, however you will on occasion need to travel to visit sites across the UK. The People Team are based across the UK and therefore you must be comfortable with working in a remote team.
