More about your role
You will take responsibility for the financial management of the Placemaking and Regeneration business, including the flow of timely and accurate financial information and provision of professional advice to enable the Executive to manage the business and the Placemaking Board to discharge its fiduciary duties.

Please note that this is an Agile role whereby you will be given the tools you need to effectively work from home; however you will spend time in both London and Preston so you will need to be geographically mobile.

More about you

You will be a qualified accountant with previous experience operating at a strategic and senior level working working within a housebuilder that manages a variety of different schemes. You will be an inspiring and engaging leader that knows how to motivate and effectively manage a high performing finance team.

Due to the nature of the role we would expect you to have experience in Capital/Revenue Accounting, commercial evaluation, financial control and Treasury. Furthermore ideally you’ll have prior experience of JV arrangements, a leveraged balance sheet and senior banking facilities and covenants.

You will put the end customer at the heart of all major decisions and genuinely be an ambassador of our SPIRIT values; whereby positivity, teamwork and innovation are major drivers in your day-to-day approach.
