PLAATO Technologies Hiring for Software Test Engineer Job at Brighton, England Full Time

We are looking for a Software Tester to help us deliver a world-class IoT sensor and platform to the brewing industry.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
• Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
• Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.

• Manually Executing tests on software usability.
• Using test automation software and writing automated tests to work with our continuous integration.
• Design test plans and test cases to validate new products and improve existing products.
• Perform product validation and verification of our hardware devices in the brewing environment.
• Provide technical support for various testing activities.
• Design and implement test tools for the review and verification process.
• Prepare production test processes and develop test plans
• Prepare and submit reports on the progress and status of all testing procedures.

Our requirements:

• At least three years of experience as a software tester
• Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field;
• A strong understanding of user-centric testing, with focus on the features of the platform that have the biggest impact.
• Proven ability to write tests using JavaScript is important
• Proven ability to write tests using c/c++ would be a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
