Job Summary

Process Automation Engineer I Duties include installation of industrial process control panels and instrumentation, providing routine preventive maintenance and calibration, corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial control systems. Work includes PLC and HMI configuration/programming, check- out and start-up on a wide variety of process control systems within our customer’s facilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Involved in technical system architecture and application
• Interface with clients as well as subcontractors to implement solutions in measurement and control of industrial manufacturing processes.
• Calibrations and verifications of field instruments, PLCs, HMI, and SCADA applications

Qualifications and Skills

• Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automated Manufacturing Systems or related degree.
• Experience in implementation of industrial control systems
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, verbal, and written skills
• Ability to deal with experienced, multidisciplinary, technical specialist
• Knowledgeable of electrical and controls engineering theories and principles
• Ability to program PLC’s , SCADA systems, and database applications
• Require electrical aptitude and knowledge of acceptable practices, techniques, and codes
• Skills in AutoCAD, MS Office suite
• PLC experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix & CompactLogix),
• HMI experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Wonderware, and Ignition software is a plus.
