Your role on our team

General

• Managing, maintaining and improving our systems on the Force.com platform and more specifically Salesforce (other systems in use are Financialforce and Rootstock);
• In collaboration with our sales and marketing teams, analyzing ongoing business processes and identifying opportunities for optimization and automation;
• Assisting in training users on changes and best practices.

System administration

• Providing daily support to internal users of our Force.com applications (Salesforce, FinancialForce, Rootstock);
• Managing and maintaining Salesforce and its related integrations;
• Creating and managing system configurations and maintaining custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, data validation rules, creating and updating Flows, installed packages, etc.;
• Managing user accounts and permissions;
• In collaboration with our sales and marketing teams, refining reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity;
• Managing and implementing best practices for creating and refreshing sandboxes and migration of data/metadata;
• Managing and communicating a schedule for future releases/enhancements;
• Participating in weekly and bi-weekly discussions to review our business needs with our sales and marketing teams;
• Participating in monthly meetings with our Salesforce representative to plan the evolution of the platform in line with our business needs.

You are the person for this role if you fit the following criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field;
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Salesforce administrator;
• Experience understanding and analyzing business needs, documenting functional requirements, designing solutions based on needs and assessing business impact;
• Strong team player with a customer service-oriented attitude;
• Demonstrated organizational skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities;
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing in English.

Nice to have

• Experience maintaining Salesforce (system, security and data integrity);
• Experience with Data Loader;
• Experience with the Salesforce API;
• Experience with Apex and Visualforce/Lightning development;
• Salesforce.com Administrator and/or Developer certifications;
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing in French.
