Position Summary: Pivotree is seeking talented, entrepreneurial-minded individuals with a proven product management background to join our product team as we continue to build innovative services. Pivotree’s goal is to offer commerce services that delight our customers. The mission of the product team is to drive the product strategy and execution to achieve this goal and solidify the Pivotree brand as a customer focused commerce service provider. In order to achieve this, we need product growth managers that understand the needs of customers and markets with focused ownership on revenue and driving the success of our business.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities and managing efforts to fill these opportunity gaps. Roles & Responsibilities: • Work directly with the GM and be held accountable for the performance and outcome of major category/product initiatives • Build a growth strategy plan to acquire new customers and/or retain existing, by defining the target market and enabling technologies, and aligning them to a revenue acquisition strategy • Understand market opportunities and customer pain points by engaging customers directly and through market and competitive research – use this knowledge to prioritize roadmaps • Establish and analyze the key Product Growth metrics and goals of your category/product and optimize the growth strategy accordingly – report monthly to executive leadership • Use data decisions to drive products reaching levels of scale, impact, and profitability • Analyze the life cycle, including the activation, retention, dormancy, and resurrection phases, and improve the lifetime value (LTV) and decrease churn • Work with the marketing team to define target customer profiles and build strong messaging focusing on business benefits and competitive differentiators of products • Collaborate with sales, marketing and solution engineers on capabilities, marketing message and pricing as they go to market • Engage customers and prospects in coordination with sales to drive adoption that fosters and grows an ecosystem of engaged customers Key Skills and Competencies: • 7-10 years experience as a leader in product management • Excellent communication and customer-conversation skills and public-speaking experience • Ability to 100% own major initiatives and business outcomes • Self-motivated and can operate and execute with a sense of urgency, discipline, decisiveness and focus. • Domain experience in one or more category: eCommerce solutions such as Oracle Commerce, SAP Hybris, VTEX, or Shopify MDM solutions such Contentserv, Riversand, or Enterworks Supply Chain Execution such as Sterling, Manhattan, Fluent Commerce • Cybersecurity solutions such as Darktrace, CloudKnox, Entersekt, Lacework, Prove, or Datadog • Proven ability to confidently and clearly communicate both technical and business topics to a variety of groups, including customers, D2L senior leadership team, designers, architects and developers. • Strong problem solver and have track record delivering on time • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills – capable of explaining complex requirements in simple words • Experience working with large enterprises, understanding their needs and capabilities in deploying new product-led software • MBA and Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields of study preferred Pivotree is an equal opportunity employer.
