Additionally, you will have the ability to build relationships with stakeholders – both internal and external.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an agency delivering quality outcomes through collaboration with high-end clients across varying industries.

The role will involve you developing social strategy plans, including strategic direction, creative recommendations, targeting and budgets.

You will be required to have direct relationships with clients, communicating via email, phone and face to face meetings. These clients have account managers, you will not need to be the primary point of contact.

The scope of this role will include paid advertising taglines and ad copy, creating short-form social media content, and providing knowledgeable insights and strategic advice in a consulting manner.

We expect strong communication skills and the ability to be agile, as you will be working across multiple clients.

Main Duties/Responsibilities – Client Work

• Developing social media and content strategies, including strategic direction, timelines, rollout/distribution plan, budget and targeting recommendations.
• Creating social calendars and posting manually when appropriate.
• Writing engaging, well-considered social media content across a variety of platforms – mainly, but not limited to Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Reviewing, editing and proofreading content – visual/video, social media copy/creative and ideally written.
• Ability to write eye-catching short-form ad copy and taglines for use across Paid Social channels.
• Briefing internal design team for social asset creation and storyboarding ideas.
• Drive growth of each social platform with an emphasis on key KPI’s.
• Ongoing communication with your clients, delivering insights and advice.
• Continuously adapt to emerging trends, new features and shifts in the social landscape.
• Working with account managers and specialist strategists to achieve client goals.
• Monthly and quarterly ing and analysis of channel performance.

You will need the following skills and experience

• Expertise in creative storytelling and the ability to create bespoke strategies which engage individuals.
• Excellent copywriting skills with the proven ability to be concise and engaging.
• Ability to write eye-catching taglines and ad copy in a client’s brand voice.
• Strong understanding of the social media landscape.
• Flawless communications skills, with the ability to deliver strategic advice.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and an attitude to do what it takes to get things done.
• Comfortable working on several campaigns simultaneously.
• Confident in participating in face-to-face client meetings.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and occasionally having to deliver work on short turnaround periods.
• Experience in a variety of digital tools – ideally Trello, Figma and Sprout Social
• Experience and some knowledge in other digital marketing areas is ideal – Content Marketing, SEO or Google Ads, even EDM’s.
